The Central Education Foundation of Silver Bow Scholarship Program

2026–2027 School Year

The Central Education Foundation of Silver Bow is proud to serve as a Montana State-approved Student Scholarship Organization (SSO). Our mission is to provide scholarships to eligible Montana families whose children attend private K–12 schools that qualify as a Qualified Education Provider (QEP).

Our goal is to assist families in their pursuit of private education for their K–12 children.

The Central Education Foundation does not select or recommend a Qualified Education Provider. Only parents or legal guardians may choose which QEP their child attends. Scholarships awarded through this SSO may be used at any qualified education provider of the parent’s or legal guardian’s choice.

Scholarship Application Process

To be considered for the 2026–2027 scholarship, families must complete the following steps:

1️⃣ Complete the FACTS Application

The Central Education Foundation of Silver Bow utilizes FACTS Management to process scholarship applications and determine financial eligibility based on the information provided by the applicant.

All families must complete the online FACTS Grant & Aid application (see provided link).

2️⃣ Upload Required Financial Documents

Parents must upload:

  • Most recent federal tax return

  • W-2 forms

Your application status must show “Complete” once all required documents are submitted.

3️⃣ Request Tuition Tier Information

Applicants must contact their school’s tuition office and request that tuition tier information be submitted to FACTS. This information is required for FACTS to calculate financial need for each student applying for the scholarship. Parents must provide a copy of the previous year's tuition agreement for each student.

4️⃣ Report Additional Scholarships

Applicants must document any scholarships received from:

  • The school

  • Other Student Scholarship Organizations

  • The ACE Foundation

5️⃣ Select the Correct Scholarship

When completing the online FACTS application, search for “Central Education Foundation of Silver Bow Scholarship” and be sure to check that box.
